What is Girls Rock Michiana?

Girls Rock Michiana is a three-day summer camp for girls entering grades 3-8. Our mission is to improve girls’ creativity, confidence, and collaboration through musical engagement. Campers work in small groups with professional music instructors to learn rock instruments and basic performance skills. Our goal is to provide a judgement-free zone for your camper to make new friends, explore music, and have fun!​

 

The Music Village instructors and other local musicians provide guidance, mentoring, and instruction throughout the camp. Special guest speakers and workshops provide a forum for creative expression and thoughtful discussion about the portrayal of girls and women in the media, boundary setting, and confidence building.
